Friends...Family, Colleagues... everyone.
Everyone is poorly sick. Today. Some people were to ill to come to work, other's came to work ill (yes just make us all sick thank you) people on buses were sneezing and coughing. people in the shops were sneezing and coughing. .....
I did some interesting shopping. I spent the princely sum of £1.40... The 40p was on a JAJ snowflake pattern platter for a friend who is pyrex crazy. The £1 was for something for my swap partner..... Marina
This week is going to be a very busy one. I am currently trying to slot 5 day weeks into 4 days. I am looking forward to Friday when I have a coffee date at M&S yay.
Now, a serious thought.....last year I gave up shopping for lent. 40 days without buying anything other than food. Do I do it again this year? Given that we are back and forth to the vet at the moment. Dog 1 is having weekly injections. Dog 2 needs his mouth checking tomorrow. It would be good to save some cash. .....
well lots to think about.....We are off to the theatre later this week and I am looking forward to sharing it all with you as it is going to be very very interesting.

Very well done for giving up buying for Lent last year. My friend gave up bread and it was very hard! I might have to give up coffee!

I agree there are so many germs going around - not to mention all the sickness bugs - eugh! Scarlett x
Hope you manage to stay germ-free. Perhaps a face mask would be handy?
I'm totally germ-phobic to the point where it causes problems with my day to day living... have really got to work on this soon, but have been this way since I was 17 (half my life ago!)
I'm considering giving up spending for lent this year... just wondering when Ash wednesday is so that I can maybe treat myself a little before it begins! x
I keep trying to avoid all the flu bugs as we too have tickets for the theatre next week and I don't want to be sneezing and coughing there - no doubt I may pick something up from someone else though - ah well!:)
Hello I have just found your blog and oddly yesterday I was admiring a Home Is Where Your Story Begins box. I was not sure what it should be used for. What do you have in your? Inside the one I was looking at were some keys but they were not key hooks. I was a bit confused.
