Why does blogger eat my posts?

I wrote a nice cheery morning post this morning at 11.30 am and it still has not appeared on dashboard! It is very frustrating. its now 4.30pm. My head is bad today. I am still in my nightie and have just thrown a casserole in the oven as I can't stand and cook. I have left a wake of devastation in my wake that I have to muster up the umph to go back and clear up. 

Other than writing a cheerful post I have been fairly miserable. This is my current facebook status: 

"Wishes someone would just chop her head off, today has been really bad, I have been a very cranky partner and parent. Thank god for Monday when I will get some relief!!!" 

This is what LSP replied with, 

 "knows where hand axe is...........bench saw is outside, jigsaw needs new blade, I broke the hack saw some time ago, kitchen knives need sharpening, how about I give you my toffee crisp and I close the blinds?"

So here I am toffee crisp in one hand and laptop in the other trying to work out why my posts are not appearing.

Good morning.

Decided to do a morning post today as its the weekend.

I wandered down to the garden this morning in my nightie to look at how things were progressing.

Owing to my poor head the garden has been neglected over the past 3 weeks.  Just look at the grass!

There is some colour in the garden.

There is promise in the big bed....

Look at all those gaps where plants should be! (the Labrador is hiding some bald spots)

The Dogs enjoyed their romp in the long grass

I also discovered we have some new neighbour's.

mmm soon there will be fresh duck egg's for sale!

Good friends and give-away's.

Today I was back up to the doctor again... I will now not be back at work till the 26th April! I am looking forward to going back. I miss my workmates a lot!!!  

I have a lovely friend who lives near my doctor and she invited me for a cup of tea following my appointment. 
She is a lovely person whom we have known for years and although we communicate often (through the magic that is facebook) we do not get together very often. 


As well as being a wonderfully warm and lovely woman she also has exquisite taste and does not find it odd that I ask to take photo's of her house while we are having tea. 

 The next 3 images are the wrong way round, I cannot get them to rotate no matter what I do so you will have  to turn your head (or your screen)  to appreciate them. She has a lovely home and is a lovely friend. 

 I have been having problems with blogger in the past week. Blogs not appearing in Dashboard. 

Yesterday's blog feathers-and-flowers did not appear in dashboard despite trying to republish! 

Ok so now to the give-away!!

This is post number 100!!!! 

So I thought I would mark it with a small give-away. 

I searched through my fabric box and found one of my vintage pillow cases. It is a lovely soft fabric and is a bit faded through regular washing over the year's. 

It would be wonderful for bag's, quilting, dressmaking (small) or even as a pillowcase on a single bed! 

(I will iron it before dispatch)

It will be a random draw that I will draw on Friday 22nd April. As it is small and light I am willing to post overseas.

Feather's and Flower's

Today I managed to do some housework!!!!! This was a major achievement and made me very happy. 

Just breaking out the duster and hoover for an hour felt great! 


Afterwards my head was banging but it was great to be seeing some normality coming back! 


I had a lovely lift in the middle of the day when there was a knock at the door and a lady carrying some flower's appeared on my door.

They were from my lovely little sister! 

So I sent her a text telling her to not waste her money like that (and that they were lovely) I thanked her very much! 

I will have to break out another vase as we have cut flower's in abundance.

(well spring would not be spring without looking at some daffs whilst washing up)

I have also had some lovely text messages today and on other days from friends and colleagues sending me get well messages. Thank you so much you know who you are. 

I have also had such lovely messages from people out in blog land, It has been such a wonderful lift just having some nice messages when I have been feeling really low and in pain. 

Tomorrow will be my 100'th blog and I am going to celebrate it in true blogger style by having a give away so please look out tomorrow for what My give away will be! 


Blogger is playing up again and this is not appearing in Dashboard. I will try and post it again!

manipulation,

As some of you are aware I had a migraine 2 weeks ago which the became a chronic tension headache which has lasted for 2 weeks and been completely debilitating. I cant work, can't do anything that involves concentration ie knitting, sewing crafting etc! I cant bear the strong light so have missed the glorious sunshine other than a couple of short walk's. walking hurts, every footfall causes pain. The headaches are resistant to painkiller's and last from morning to night. I have never experienced anything like it before! It is not a pain at level 10 its only a 4-5 but its a constant 4-5, when I walk or go outside it goes up! 






I have been checked by the hospital so there is nothing nasty going on with my brain, I am not dehydrated, do not need my eye's testing, do not have fillings etc. 


My sister in law suggested I go to a physiotherapist! 


So I did, 


He felt my neck and my back, pocked, prodded, twisted, massaged and manipulated. 


It was not pleasant, Having some of my very sore muscles pushed and prodded.


I am holding so much tension in my back and neck muscle's it is causing the headaches. 


After an hour last night, I felt a bit better. 


This morning, My headache did not materialise till about 11am amazing, those few hours without having the pain in my head was bliss!


When the headache started it was less intense until the evening when it has returned to normal. I can  also feel every place where he pressed in my neck and shoulder's.


Today I have spent 80% of the day in bed trying to relax.....


Finally I feel there is some light at the end of the tunnel

Spring Bluebells !

LSP, took the afternoon off today to spend some time with me. We went for a therapeutic walk with Eldest Daughter and the dogs in a local park. We only managed an hour but it was worth it! Armed with the pocket camera I clicked away....

The Flower's were lovely, 

The company was great, 

Oh yes and there were the bluebells....

perfect!

In the past 2 days they have not been appearing despite being reposted! its all very curious???
